Slacker Central
I have been the ultimate blog slacker of late, mainly due to being pretty worn out from my newly acquired daily commute. I am constantly amazed by the disgusting people that board the District Line, and have developed a very small tolerance for people that eat on public transport. I do not wish to smell or hear hideous prawn sandwiches being chowed down without stopping for air. VILE.
Anyway I have been meaning to write about Emma Watson for a little while and with this newly found energy (probably from mama Crids roast dinner) I will take the chance.
I have never really had an opinion on the Harry Potter star, probably because I'm not over keen on the films, but all of a sudden she is my new celeb obsession. It started with the hair, quite partial to the short back and sides look myself, I can't help but like someone who pulls it off with such aplomb. Then two amazing bespoke Burberry trenches later and I official googled her for an entire afternoon.
I feel the brilliant Cristopher Bailey has something to do with my obsession as without his trenches I think I would probably still be impartial to old Hermione. So here are the much lusted after coats. I'd be happy with either in my present pile this Christmas.
Seriously she rocks

The hunt for some winter warmth continues....
My coat collection is pretty poor, I would like to invest in a few this winter but I think I'll just have one for Christmas. Some of my favourites:
Quinn Boucle Coat
Fonda Pea Coat
Girly Skirted Coat

Stardust
Having only just got my copy of December Vogue, I am a bit late on discovering the best piece of editorial I've seen for a long time, I thought I would share it with you anyway. The special December issue, dedicated to the stars, features a 12 page horoscope editorial spread. The images are a brilliant mix of surreal, dreamy backdrops designed by Shona Heath, mixed with striking poses shot by Tim Gutt. Here are a few of my favourites.

Today I fell in love
Last night I thought it might be love, this morning I knew it was definitely love. In fact I've never fallen so hard and fast as I did today. It's not love for a boy, baby or animal. I am in love with the most fantastic pair of shoes I have ever laid eyes on. They're not Jimmy's, Louboutin's or Atwood's but Rojas, a designer unknown to me and probably a lot of people, available at modcloth.com.
I like to imagine that a pair of ordinary black pumps were discovered by the little Lucky Charm leprechaun who took them and bedazzled them with gorgeous sparkly treats found at the end of his rainbow.
Delightfully tacky and defiantly not understated these are not for the shrinking wall flower. They deserve to be twirled around a dance floor, under a sparkly disco light, ending the night in a taxi with a handsome man.
I think I have found my ultimate Christmas party shoe. It would be happy days if only I could afford the $239 price tag. So I'm seriously thinking of making them myself. There is a similar pair of black courts from New Look for about £30 and with the addition of a bag of plastic gems and a tube of super glue I reckon I could create something similar. I didn't get a B in Textiles for nothing you know!
Vagazzling has taken off here in Essex, and obviously I need to keep up with the Essex crowd but I think I'll just cover my shoes in sparkly goods, much less hassle and sure to get more attention than a vagazzle.
Mod cloth have some really cool stuff, most of it is a reasonable price and they deliver to the UK. Check them out.
